HOME VISITS:
To teach and assist with positioning and latch on skills; observation of mother and baby during a feed; baby's weight checked before and after feeding to verify milk transfer. Addressing basic concerns such as: sore nipples, engorgement, thrush, and low milk supply. During a home visit if needed, a plan of care will be developed for mother and baby. Home visits generally last from 90 to 120 minutes.
TELEPHONE OR EMAIL COUNSELING:
For established clients who have had a Lactation Visit, no charge for follow up phone calls or emails.
For nonestablished clients: Brief Assistance and Referrals are available free of charge.
Email Counseling (not requiring a home visit) is free of charge as well as resources and referrals.
FEES:
For the First initial Home Visit - a charge of $100.00 will be applied.
Additonal Milieage outside of service areas will incur an additional fee of $25.00

If a follow-up visit is required, a charge of $50.00 will be applied.
Telephone or Email follow-ups are at no charge for existing clients.
REFERRALS:
To lactation consultants, local area support and support groups are free of charge!
